Suffrage Centennial Celebration

Suffrage Centennial 2013

The Suffrage Centennial Celebration March 1– 3, 2013, in Washington, D.C. will celebrate us all. Come learn from the bold, brave band of suffragists who marched down Pennsylvania Avenue March 3,1913, proudly demanding their right to vote. Unstoppable from 1913 until women got the vote in 1920, they changed our history and our lives. Spend an amazing weekend soaking up our past and present, surrounded by history and history-in-the-making. Plan to be changed (stunned, angered, inspired) by special exhibits at museums and beyond, terrific panels and lectures, movies and special events–even a multimedia staged reading of a critically acclaimed Off Broadway play about Alice Paul. Highly historic, perfectly timely. Wherever you are, get here …  suffrage-centennial.org  |   www.suffragistmemorial.org
